10 AM-3 PM | The Autolawn Euro Classic Car Show

Want to spend a lovely day out on the lawn, sipping a cool beverage, listening to music and drooling over some of the world’s most cherished automobiles? How about checking out HMA’s latest exhibitions while you’re here? These are just a few of the benefits of joining us for The Autolawn EuroClassic Car Show.

The Autolawn is a free event, open to the public. There’s something fun for everyone! Events include the car show, food, music, beer garden, art exhibitions, Appalachain State University’s award-winning solar car, scavengar hunt, merchandise for sale and awards ceremonies.

European classic car owners who would like to enter their car in the show can do so under the “Registration” tab. The Autolawn EuroClassic Car Show is open to all European classics. Click here for more information on the classifications and registration.

10 AM-4 PM | ART EXHIBITIONS & SCAVENGER HUNT

If you’re a fan of art exhibitions, you’re in for a treat! Hickory Museum of Art has amazing exhibitions happening right now that you shouldn’t miss.

Ben Venom: BANG YOUR HEAD
This exhibition showcases the mind-blowing artwork of Ben Venom. Known for his unique fusion of heavy metal aesthetics and textile crafts, Venom creates intricate and powerful pieces that challenge traditional notions of art. Get ready to have your mind blown and your head banged with this exceptional display of artistic talent.

Ping’s Studio
Ping is a fine artist, conducting a strict tattoo practice where she only tattoos her original artwork. The exhibition includes a re-creation of her studio complete with a tattoo bed, inks, tools, and flash wall; original sketches; photographs of completed tattoos; and a selection of Ping’s fine art.

Aloha Shirts: Celebrating Paradise Culture
Explore the history and artistry of Hawaii’s enduring fashion statement, the Aloha shirt. The exhibition includes nearly 50 vintage and modern examples on loan from the collections of brothers John Lane and Landon Lane.

Gallery Scavenger Hunt In addition to these amazing exhibitions, there’s also a scavenger hunt happening where you can win one of three fantastic prizes. 11 AM-3 PM | FOOD TRUCKS

It’s always a delight to have a variety of options when it comes to food and drinks. Whether you’re craving a mouthwatering burger, spicy tacos, or Southern food with a twist, there will be something for everyone. Take your time to explore the different food trucks and find your favorite treat. So, get ready to indulge in some delicious food truck delights and quench your thirst with the perfect drink. Bon appétit!

11 AM-3:00 PM | BEER GARDEN

Traditional European brews as well some local craft beers will all be available for purchase in our Beer Garden sponsored by United Beverages of NC, LLC.

12-3 PM | LIVE MUSIC

Moose & Friends was formed in 2013 as the power trio of Andrew Moose, Kevin Plant and Marty White in Hickory, NC. The band plays a collection of original songs written by all members that have influences in jam, jazz and newgrass. Over the course of it’s history, Moose & Friends has played iconic venues, breweries, and festivals and have shared the stage with regional and national acts of magnitude.

11:00 AM to 3:00 PM | 50/50 DRAWING & PORSCHE DRIVING EXPERIENCE

In our 50/50 Drawing, the winning ticket holder will receive 50% of the ticket sales. Tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10. Tickets may be purchased at the raffle table and from staff members. Must be present to win the 50/50 Drawing.

3 PM | AWARDS CEREMONY

The number of award places are based on the number of entrants on the day of the show. We will award prizes for 1st place in each class that has a minimum of 3 entrants. Additional classifications may be added based on participation or theme such as Spectator’s Choice, Best of Brand or Theme, Hagerty Youth Judged Best in Show and Best in Show (Overall).
